George Lernis Jazz Quartet
The George Lernis Jazz Quartet was formed in 2011 in preparation of the recording "The Shapes of Nature". The band includes three of Lernis fellow Master graduates, bassist Mark Zaleski, saxophonist Scott Boni, as well as Pianist Tim Peck; Having played together in various ensembles around Boston, the foursome comes together as a tightly knit unit that perfectly complement each other in the realization of the leaders idiosyncratic compositions. The album was recorded on June 1st, 2011 and was released in July of the same year. |
